Held at the stunning Boconnoc Estate, which is situated just outside of Lostwithiel, our retreats really are going to be an escape where you will spend your time crafting, relaxing and having fun. The house, cottage and grounds at Boconnoc Estate are stunning and you will have time to explore the grounds at your own pace.
For those of you who are joining us for the full retreat we will be excited to welcome you to Boconnoc Estate on the first day before 4pm, taking your bags and showing you to your room either in the gorgeous Boconnoc House or to one of the lovely cottages on the estate (situated just a minute away from the house).
Once settled in we will meet for a coffee/tea before having an explore of the house and some of the grounds. Our first evening is very relaxing; we will meet for dinner at 6pm and following our meal we will have a lovely creative evening in the lounge. Tea/Coffee and soft drinks are included in the evening, should you wish to have alcohol Boconnoc are kindly opening their honesty bar for us.
The next morning we will be up and about serving breakfast from 8am until 9am and then at 9.30am we will be joined by our day guests. Throughout the day you will join 3 different crochet or knitting workshops, allowing you time to explore some creativity and try out a variety of crafts. We will be supplying lunch and there will also be time for some coffee/tea and cake! Day guests will then depart at 5.30pm allowing us the evening for a lovely dinner and social time, or time just to explore or rest.
Our final day at Boconnoc Estate following breakfast and a leisurely start to the date we will be joined by a visiting tutor for the morning. Lunch will be served before finishing the retreat with a lovely crochet or knitting session. Heading off at approximately 3pm.
Throughout the retreat there will be tea, coffee and soft drinks available along with fruit and snacks to enjoy and take to your room if you wish. All meals are catered for by the fabulous Bellamama’s Deli in Lostwithiel, with breakfast and lunch being served in the lounge rooms, whilst dinner will be in the dining hall. There will be a vegetarian option available. Individual dietary needs will be catered for and Hayley from LilyBoo will be in contact prior to the retreat to discuss this with you.
We are delighted to be welcoming 15 day guests on each Retreat. The 8 guests will join us on the middle day of the retreat from 9.30am to 5.30pm. We will be welcoming you at the main entrance of Boconnoc House ready for your day, starting off with some social time before joining your first craft workshop at 10am. Â
Throughout the day you will join the crochet or knitting workshops, allowing you time to explore some creativity and try out a variety of skills. We will be supplying lunch and there will also be time for some coffee/tea and cake! Â
Your last workshop concludes at 5.30pm when we will wave you off with all the goodies you have created. Â
