This is a great opportunity to book time to work with our dressmaker Morgan. You can book just an hour or longer and get support you need to further your dressmaking. The sessions can be used how you want them to be, from just starting out and getting used to your sewing machine or overlocker, or help on cutting a pattern. You may wish to spend time taking up and item, or replacing a zip. It really is your time. These sessions are £25 per hour. These 1:1 sessions can be for children as well, aged 12 year plus.
All you need to do is choose how many hours you wish to book, 1 for 1 hour, 6 for 6 hours etc. Then we will contact you to arrange a suitable day and time. Dressmaking sessions are normally held on a Monday or Tuesday, but if we have space on another day or evening we can arrange this.
What’s included?
You will have full access to the workshop area and our machines, which include sewing machines and an overlocker or you can bring your own should you wish.
Anyone, from beginners to experienced.
Our very own Morgan your tutor has extensive experience in dressmaking from working in theatre and TV.
The project you are working on, or information on what you would like to work on.
Please note that the workshop is held upstairs. Refreshments are included in the fee, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. The workshops at LilyBoo have brought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter.
Should you need to cancel the workshop a full refund will be issued 28 days prior to the workshop. If cancelled with less than 28 days until the workshop unfortunately no refund will be issued. If for any reason, we have to cancel the workshop a full refund will be issued, or you can transfer onto the next available workshop.
