What will this workshop cover?

This is a great workshop if you would like to learn the basics of wet felting. The workshop will give you an introduction to the exciting and colourful world of felting. Wet felting is a technique that uses soap and water to bind the wool fibres together.

Your tutor will take you through the process of creating your very own felted landscape picture which will be approximately 9 x 7 inches. We will take inspiration from the Cornish landscapes.

This is a great workshop for beginners or those who want to refresh their skills.

Who is your tutor?

The lovely Ceri from Felt and Away will be joining us to lead this workshop. Ceri studied Art and Design and then took an degree in Action Photography at Truro College. She was an event photographer for 12 years covering horse events across Cornwall. In 2018 she went back to my art roots and found the world of felting and subsequently set up her own business creating colourful gifts and home décor pieces particularly in the creation of her unique lampshades.

What do you need to bring?

Please bring with you 2 towels – one small and one medium plus a bag to take your work home in.

Other things you need to know

Please note that the workshop is held upstairs. Refreshments are included in the fee, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. The workshops at LilyBoo have brought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter.

Cancellation policy

Should you need to cancel the workshop a full refund will be issued 28 days prior to the workshop. If cancelled with less than 28 days until the workshop unfortunately no refund will be issued. If for any reason, we have to cancel the workshop a full refund will be issued, or you can transfer onto the next available workshop.
